And for you and Bob right now, the season is one of waiting, accepting loss, and trying to find the good in all this. That you are able to do that--to look and find what you can be grateful for during these days of frustration and fear that the operation will come too late to give you back full mobility and flexibility--is a testament to your resilience and to your ever-present fortitude.

I will be praying for you in the days and weeks and months ahead. And also thinking of this photo of you and seeing you surrounded by the healing white light of love coming from all your friends and family members.

Your life has been so rich in friendship and all of those whose lives have been touched by your goodness and great good sense are now united in Oneness in holding you dear and hoping that the operation will be soon and will be totally successful.

Be of good heart. You are cherished by so many of us and the doctors you've found seem so knowledgable and ready to work with you. Peace. Here's knowing that Bob will be fine and you will learn to love your wheelchair for the next few months. You both have been very blessed with your good health and active life and that will return soon. I trust you have let your neighbors know what is going on and they will be there for you both. You're also right that there are things to be grateful for. But that doesn't negate the effect of the current circumstances on you and your loved ones. Please take care of yourself. I hope your surgery can be done very soon and wish you rapid healing and an uneventful convalescence. Please keep us updated if you can. Yes, there IS much for which to be grateful and I am pleased that you are able to see it through all the coughs and sneezes, fevers and pains, concerns for yourself and for Bob. Often, we don't find the grateful till after when we put it all together. It may sound Pollyanna, but I think when you can find the good parts in something rather grim, it does make it at least a bit more palatable.

But I have to say, you have a full plate right now and of course I will be adding you to the thoughts and prayers we always give when we feel rather helpless to do much else. My biggest concern is for a quick and successful surgery as well as for the thyroid tests. We've been around the block with that one before. The good thing is that if it IS malignant and caught reasonably soon, it is quite treatable and slow growing. So, hold that thought and concentrate on loving and living, adjusting and coping. Sending love and hugs your way.Jeaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17482528482559445943noreply@blogger.com
