We talked politics, it bummed us out, but we did not have much disagreement re: the current political situation.Beahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07886227825064266814noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7754684819908801536.post-63757556130437004262016-11-28T13:50:14.211-07:002016-11-28T13:50:14.211-07:00Your post says it all. I'm grateful more than ever that my children are thoughtful, productive, and informed members of society. Post Trump is equally horrifying for many here, pro Trumps are too unpleasant ever to have been friends with in the first place.

Happy holidays to all of us.Frikohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04277167831642088694noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7754684819908801536.post-25594702678895577372016-11-17T09:51:57.542-07:002016-11-17T09:51:57.542-07:00For once I am glad I live in another state. We are a divided family and I am sure as long as the stuffing lasts, we would too but am not sure after the wine flows.
Your idea of a restaurant sounds smart. Not likely to get into a shouting match in public. These are hard times in divided families. My 4 daughters and I are liberal and their dad is conservative. The extended family is split, too. So, I made the rule decades ago and we get through just fine. I hope it's like that this year as well. So I don't have to go gangsta on people. LOL I am so sorry for those who will not enjoy the holidays due to something like this. We all have our opinions. I'm not sure why some people try to force theirs on others or turn their backs on those who differ in thought. It seems so ridiculous. You made some fantastic points and gave wonderful tips!Empty Nesterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14060983954463697344noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7754684819908801536.post-27905164963092912642016-11-17T07:53:20.554-07:002016-11-17T07:53:20.554-07:00My family will get together and console each other...My family will get together and console each other.Olgahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00692441479616299920noreply@blogger.com
